Bone Talk

This book is probably my favourite out of the carnegie books this year so far. It follows a young boy who is about to become a man but due to the ongoing war with the other local tribe the Mangili and the new arrival of a young boy claiming to be his brother and an "American", life in his village is about to change forever. I thought this book was really captivating and well written, and I could connect with the characters really well, especially Luki, a young girl wishing to be like the boys. I would recommend it to everyone.
