Long Way Down
This was a good book. Not great, not exceptional, but good. The poems were a unique touch, but one I've seen before; the protagonist was starkly presented, but not shocking. It reminded me strongly of The Hate U Give, so much so it lost it's Unique Selling Point, but that did result in gaining some likability. The relatability of the character resonated, even as a White British girl, but I did more so of Starr. It was a mediocre book, but one I would vote for if there aren't any better ones, and could of been done so much better and more originally.
