Bone Talk

Bone talk is a book about the native people of the Philippines. It is about their culture and how they react to the American invasion

I enjoyed this book because I found the way they were fooled by the Americans' gifts sweets and matches, in exchange for hours of digging paths interesting. The way the soldiers treated the mountain men and the people of the Flatlands was horrible.

I thought the ending was a bit abrupt and it was confusing because the boy and his father were both called Samkad.

To conclude, I thought this book was very good and definately, along with The House With Chicken Legs, the best option for the winner.
