The House with Chicken Legs
Personally, this book wasn't really my style, however as the book progressed it gradually became more engrossing. In comparison to the protagonist in 'The Poet X', Marinka has been told what her destiny is, and is in disagreement with it. When her grandmother Baba Yaga is gone, and she is left with no choice but to fulfill her destiny, it makes the reader feel empathethy and pity for her, it gives you a sense of understanding what life is like without choice, friends, and it taught me not to take things for granted, and how lucky I am personally.
