Drasti, Xenial Readers of Rushey Mead

Long Way Down

From reading this book I have never felt so touched, a story which contains so much grief and pain yet still highlights the causes of violence really help teach the younger audience the consequences of their actions and teaches them not everything is as simple as it appears.By making a character like Will really shows others that following one's footsteps or 'rules' doesn't make you the right one but instead causes a bigger reaction. We learn this when Will's dad followed the rules and killed his brother's killer who found out at the end that he wasn't the killer after all. Overall, this book has been a very interesting book with many twists and I would recommend this book to anyone into tragedy or anyone interested in books with morals.
