Things A Bright Girl Can Do
I was disappointed by this book. Going into it, I was looking forward to learning more about the Suffragettes, but they didn't seem like the main focus throughout most of the book. The author missed many opportunities to go into more depth about some of the things the Suffragettes and suffragists did. Halfway through the book, the War becomes a more prominent topic than the fight for suffrage. Evelyn was an mediocre character, as she pretty much gave up fighting for suffrage as soon as the war started. The ending to this book was unsatisfying and boring and I feel like this whole book could have been really interesting, but because of the poor writing it's boring and forgettable.
