Toby F, Ermysted's

Things A Bright Girl Can Do

This book was quite dull. However, it was showing the story of the suffragettes and their riots and rebellions so that part was quite interesting. I liked how it showed what was happening to the women who stayed at home during wartime (how they were poor and even starving in some cases) because most other books set in wartime just talk about what was happening to the men at war. Overall, I would not vote for this book to win the Carnegie award.
