The Land of Neverendings

When Emily's sister Holly dies her life changes drastically. She misses Holly and misses Bluey her sister's favourite toy. She spent all her life creating stories about Bluey to make Holly happy and now that they are gone she feels like a part of her is missing. When she sees her toys come to life she thinks she is dreaming. But when Ruth, who runs an antique shop down the road, sees her son's toys come to life they both know that they are not imagining it. The place that Emily always set her stories in, Smockeroon, was real and the toys there, were coming through into her world, the hard world. The Land of Never Endings is a wonderful book and it follows Emily as she fights to stop sadness from invading her world and her heart. This book is sweet and is an incredible tale of dealing with grief for a sister and a son this book is suitable for ages 7+ and everyone should read it.
