Long Way Down

While i liked the concept of Long Way Down, I thought the ending was not conclusive enough to be a considered a proper ending. A cliffhanger is defined by stopping at a suspenseful moment, but in my opinion, this ending just felt sudden, anti-climactic and not dramatic at all. We never find out if the ghosts were a dream, Will's imagination or if he was dead or not. I thought there were too many unanswered questions by the end meaning that the book just felt incomplete rather then suspenseful.
Other then the ending, however, the book was well written and blank verse suited the story line very well. The concept of the elevator was a great metaphor and overall this was an enjoyable book to read.
