Victoria, King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls

I didn't like this book. It might just be because I don't like basketball but I think this book is my least favourite out of the Carnegie books I've read. It could have been written in prose as the verse didn't have anything to do with the story so I don't understand the reason behind this choice. The ending was confusing and I had to read it a few times to understand what had happened. However I did like Kwame Alexander's use of cartoon strips to show the action scenes because this related to the story (the main character liked comics) and made the action easier to understand. Overall I didn't think that some of the author's choices added to the story and the plot got confusing at times (mainly the end).
