The House with Chicken Legs
This book wasn't necessarily my favourite, but it did teach an important moral lesson. It showed the importance of the choices we make, and how consequences will always come into play. Marinka was a character that frustrated me at first.I couldn't understand her point of view, and I did feel that she was being over dramatic. However,as the book went on and the character's frustration was explained, her thoughts and actions became more coherent, I understood her better.
The book was easy to follow and vocabulary was easy and wouldn't confuse a younger audience, but still managed to deliver a good message.
