Things A Bright Girl Can Do
I found this book provided an insight into life as a suffragette on many levels; it showed the extremity of the actions lead by Emily Wilding Davison and the influence her and her fellow suffragettes in comparison to the peaceful protests of the suffragists. Personally, I like historical novels because I like to learn something from the book but I never usually pick up a book which contains romance. However I could not put this book down due to its interesting character relationships which eventually collide to create a hugely interesting world to immerse yourself in. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to 'live' in a realistic world full of twists and turns.
