Eleanor, St Helen and St Katharine
The House with Chicken Legs
This book is about a girl whose house is no regular house.it is quite the opposite.........
A girl called Marikna lives with her grandmother baba yaga who is a guardian. Guardians are people who guide spirits from the real world to the spirit world. But Marikna just wants to be normal. When she finds out a terrible secret she knows that she can never achieve this dream. I would rate this book eight out of ten because it was quite an entertaining book but the storyline wasn’t really the type of book that I would usually read. I would say the age range for this book is eight to ten because it is quite an immature storyline. My favourite character is Marikna because she is a strong and independent character. My favourite part of the story is when Marikna meets a boy from the village because she was so excited and it was quite funny. I liked the blurb because it was quite intriguing and I also liked the cover because it made me want to open the book and start reading it. I really liked the general story and the idea. I also liked all of the characters personalities and wished that they were real people. I wish that there was more book on this subject. Compared to the other books I have read it didn’t stand out but it wasn’t the worst.
What if there were houses that had chicken legs........?!?!
