After the Fire

After the Fire is a book about children and grown ups who live on the premise of the church, their goal in life is to maintain the true path and ascend (die and go to heaven). It is told from Moonbeam's perspective, after the fire began. At the start it was quite confusing, but I could tell it was going to be good so I kept reading, and I was right. It is an amazing story with an great ending. It has got a bit of harsh language in it, but not loads so it wouldn't prevent younger readers from reading it from that aspect, but the content mixed with the language may require an older reader. If you are unsure whether to read it or not (and this goes for any book!) give it a go, you might actually enjoy it.
