Things A Bright Girl Can Do
This book felt to me like it had been written to order and had to include certain elements. We have two parallel stories with characters caught up in the fight for women's votes and then the First World War starts. I did enjoy the storyline of Evelyn and Teddy, they could have had a whole book to themselves. Nell and May seemed to turn into cariactures of themselves which was a shame. The whole history side was well documented and evidently well researched. Not a winner for me but suitable for the theme.
